Hello, mates!
My name is Desi aand I smile a lot. ^_~
So, there are 3 things in my live that I love a lot. Travel. Games. Cats. (I have 2 adorable fluffly Mr. Kitties). I am born in a small village nearby Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. That's how my adventure started. I was studying in Sofia and I had to wake up around 5AM, to get the bus at 6 aaand to arrive at school around 7:30. But that bus was not very regular (it is still not) and the next one is hour and a half after it! Driven by the force of getting to school on time I have learned myself how to hike to school at the age of 14. It was pretty easy and 2-3 years after it I started exploring other parts of the country that way with friends. I found the pleasure of traveling and I am on my mission to visit at least 3 new countries every year!

I am happy to have my dream job - Level Designer in Ubisoft Sofia (I love it <3)
My hobbies?
Cosplay, games, anime, manga, crafting, cooking, cycling, interior design

My motivation in live? - There is always a solution . ^_^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like hotels and this kind of accommodation.
I would like to know the locals, to be part somehow of their day-to-day life, to share the experience as a traveler, not as a tourist.
When I travel most of the times I book a place in airbnb but I found out part of the places are just like hotels, they treat you like a customer, the hosts are nice, but they don't see you as a person.
I am here to find people who will to help the others, to know new people or just to feel the pleasure of touching a different culture through the eyes of a friendly stranger.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love to drive my car on jazz, to chill at home on indie, to party hard on dnb and to take off my head during a metal live performance.

Movies: Mr. Nobody, Kill Bill, Fight club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are my favorites

Books: I love everything born under the fingers of Ray Bradbury!
Oh... and Philip Marlowe is my forever crush. Raymond Chandler did an amazing job with his creation!

Games: After all I am a gamer. Aaand a lvl designer for Ubisoft Sofia as well. Let's not talk about MMO's. (I like only Tera and Guild Wars). But if you want to talk about Uncharted, The last of Us, DMC, God of War, The Wolf Among us or Batman Arkham series... I am your buddy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a supercool kids party!
The 8th Birthday of my little bro. He wears glasses aaand he is not part of the "cool" kids. But since I took a day of and made for him a home party with all of his classmates, including crazy Just Dance competition, 3D movies and homemade goodies, nobody wanted to leave, the little ones put a score of 11/10 of the party and since then they like him more and now he gets invitation for their activities.
I feel like a super-sis-hero and all of my trips or achievements are nothing compare to this feeling.

Also I traveled from India to Vietnam alone for 5 months only with a carry on small backpack. I loved it!
