Right now, I'm cycling from Istanbul to Italy. Wild camping mostly, still trying to figure out why and what it's all about.

I've been on an internship in South Korea (where I picked up some basic language skills), taught myself basic German, sailed the length of Europe for 50 days on the Young Endeavour (an Australian tall ship) in mid 2015.
I've scratched a living chopping wood and breaking rocks with a hammer, traveled solo around New Zealand, spider-climbed Australian gorges, dodged bullets in downtown LA, toured Australia with a folk band and plenty more in between.

I studied music at university and then developed a deep love for folk music (particularly of the American, Irish and Scottish varieties).

I'll share plenty of stories and any knowledge that I have.

I can't bear to stand around while somebody else is doing the work - rest assured I'll pitch in and help out with all the day to day jobs (plus any extras that may need doing).
