Overview
About Me
Born in New York, spent some time in Hong Kong, did high school and university in Atlanta, Georgia, and now working in Nashville, TN...who knows where I'll be next!
Love to explore cultures, places, and explore the world.
Note: While I'm not technically fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, I can speak it well enough to get around, but not enough to discuss in-depth and deep conversations.
Note: The reason I'm not able to host guests is because I live a housing situation in which my roommates don't allow people to stay over for time period. Additionally, my place is a little far from Nashville proper, so it wouldn't be convenient unless you had a car. When I move to a more appropriate place, I will definitely be willing to host guests as I think meeting new people is always a good experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
An opportunity to learn about different cultures, but also an opportunity to meet new people. What better way to immerse in the place you are seeing other than visiting the people who are living there!

Haven't read much recently, which I'm trying to change. Do keep abreast of various topics by reading science articles, journals, and other random reading material. Like reading random topics on Wikipedia if I'm procrastinating
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I fed a really hungry elephant in Thailand. Didn't get to ride one :(
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn the "hidden gems" and interesting things about the city.
Explore Food/Bars/Cultural Places
And maybe along the way, make some friends from around the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting discussions on just about everything. I'm always interested in learning different perspectives on a wide variety of topics, including physics, medicine, engineering, and others.
I have had discussions ranging from deep space exploration and sustainability engineering/research/thinking to domestic policy and psychology.
