In 2015, I was given an extraordinary opportunity to each children in Bali all summer. That was the best job I’ve ever had in my life! I was able to learn the Balinese language and engage in their cultural/social lives. In return, it was a blessing to share with the children my knowledge of the English language! The entire summer was a life-changing period of my life.

I have now devoted myself to giving back to every country I visit, whether it be a short-term teaching gig or simply helping a local family for a day. I believe reciprocating to a country that provides you with experience is important.

What I want to learn from each experience is the language and how people communicate and engage with each other. My goal is to acquire as much of the country’s language as I possibly can. That way, I can utilize my findings and communicate with as many people as possible here in New York City.
