Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an adventure at heart and intend to travel and write wherever my heart leads me, with nothing but what's in my bag and no money but what is given to me, and leaning on faith for every meal and bed. No strings and no safety nets--completely on the edge and at the mercy of the kindness of strangers.

I really really like good music. I like everything. I couldn't give you a favorite artist if I tried. You'd have to give me a genre to choose from and then I could possibly list my top 5 :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just finished 8 years with the US army reserves. I spent last summer in England, and have traveled quite a bit. I'm currently writing a book, with at least 12 or so ideas for other books I'm researching and planning for.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french, yoga, music (guitar, piano, and more). I can cook and bake, and dabble in crafting and scrapbook/collage.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and bake pretty darn well. I'm a huge fan of gin so if you drink I could make you some pretty great gin cocktails. I could teach you to play guitar, lead you through a yoga session, teach you a bit of french, write a blog post for/about you....and probably teach you how to shoot an M16 rifle, but that may not be as useful ;) and who knows,you may end up a character in one of my books someday ;)
