About Me
CURRENT MISSION
**Uptdate** Dear travellers, I am currently travelling myself. Therefore I can't host anybody. Please take this into consideration when messaging me. Merci et happy summer to you all!

ABOUT ME
I hate contracts!
Well, I'm of Turkish descent (and more essentially a world citizen) and was born and raised in Berlin. Studying psychology and who knows where I'll end up. I enjoy reading and having discussions about all sorts of topics. Most importantly (regard before requesting to stay with me!) I am obsessed with The Settlers of Catan, and I will most probably convince you to play - if not get you hooked on it! I am against any sort of racism and discrimination and thus try to be as unbiased and avoid as much ignorance as possible! Love humour and the British spelling.
PHILOSOPHY
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. (Oh, Mr Henry Miller)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sad enough money rules the world, therefore I find CS just a kind way of travelling and what not with no need of a credit card!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have met many people through Couchsurfing, very different ones; quiet, open, outstanding, humble, funny, intelligent, flamboyant, deep, and simply wonderful human beings. In fact, I made new friends, which I am grateful for!
Interests
Conversations: It is good to have an own personal opinion, nonetheless, I find it enriching to hear others' opinions, through which one can gain another point of view and thus from time to time see things just differently // painting: I started painting during my A-Levels; it was a good form of therapy for myself, mostly I paint after bureaucratic phone calls - a good way to avoid frustration // literature: just gives me the freedom of imagination and time for my surreal self // cultures: As a traveller, I think it is essential to be interested in different cultures instead of just going somewhere with the intention of "picture in front of Eiffel Tower DONE" // cooking: Man, not only do I love eating good meals but cooking certainly improves creativity! // music: What would life be without music?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Breaking my ankle at an extracurricular dance course (completely sober) and realising how beautifully strong human bodies can be - honestly, for the first 10 minutes or so I felt no pain at all; all I wanted at that time was a cigarette!
Teach, Learn, Share
Started learning French a year ago and would love to improve that! I'm happy to share all my thoughts about my hometown Berlin as well about my roots, Turkey, if you feel like hearing more about it! Can also teach you some Turkish!
Recently, I started playing the piano - anyone want to jam? Will appreciate further lessons on that!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer sharing my perception on travelling, on how it is to grow up within two (and more) cultures. I can offer cooking and most importantly respect and gratefulness towards the generosity offered to me.
