Overview
About Me
My name is Destinee and I have a huge passion for traveling, language & culture. I grew up in Madison, Georgia, USA which is a very small town, but my ambitions have always been bigger. I grew up on a farm and eventually moved to the city where I worked and lived on my own for 3 years.
I love traveling, hiking, going to the beach, spending time in coffee shops, weight lifting at the gym, and experiencing new things! I strive to see the diversity of the world, meet new people, experience new cultures, and live my life to the absolute fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and sharing stories with others about experiences, passions, and goals. I look forward to learning from people and hopefully teaching the people I meet about traveling through couch surfing and creating life long friendships all around the world.

Movies: I really enjoy watching documentaries :)
Books: I love reading self-development books, or any book/novel by Danielle Steel
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done was step out of my comfort zone by flying half way across the world, by myself, and riding a camel beside the pyramids in Egypt. I had never felt a moment of peace like that until I was making my way between the Pyramids and the Sahara Desert. Even though it's considered a very dangerous and mysterious place to most, it was absolutely breathe-taking to me and I felt so free living out the first thing that was on my bucket list.
