Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to show surfers a part of the German way of living
ABOUT ME
Interested in travelling (mostly Europe), meeting people from all over the world and learning of their way of life; trying to give travellers an impression of Germany (which is more than Neuschwanstein, Rothenburg, Liebfrauenmilch or Sauerkraut!)
PHILOSOPHY
"Think positive" for my private life and "keep it simple" for my professional life

Music, Movies, and Books
Books I've read recently: "The sleepwalkers - how Europe went to the 1st world war" and "1812" (about Napoleon's defeat in Russia). Recently I started with the book "To hell and back - Europe 1914 - 1949."
And there still a lot of books in my shelf waiting wait to be read - i. e. "Red notice" by Bill Browder, a shocking but true political roller-coaster told by one of Putin's most wanted.
I like the music of Gianna Nannini, especially her song "Un estate italiana".
Movies? Maybe "Angel's share" and that sort of movies; "The King's speech" is a very impresse movie to me (and based on a true story). The last one we've seen was Monsieur and his daughters II" - rather funny.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I have been flying with a hot air balloon - that was a great experience!
Something great that I have seen? The Italian navy's training vessel "Amerigo Vespucci" under full sails right in the middle of the Mediterranean between Malta and Sicily (and no more pictures left in my camera! - this was still the time of analog cameras!).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Maybe something about Germany: where it comes from, how it is working today, it's people and their habits.
Learn: I hope I can always be open-minded to other people's opinions.
