ABOUT ME

For my whole life I've had the feeling that I need to go somewhere, to start a journey, to visit places. I think going back and forth to my hometown Rovinj,in Croatia, at least 5 times a year for the last 19 years has something to do with it! Unfortunately I haven't travelled a lot in recent years and I feel there is something missing in my life.
Other than this, I can tell you the usual things: I'm very friendly, easygoing, a good cook and a clean person... and even though these are "the usual things" people say, I promise all of the above is true :)

PHILOSOPHY

As cheezy as it may sound, I really believe in being positive and smiling no matter what. I can definitely say things turn out ok when I look at them through my optimistic eye :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about CS through my best friend...he's the one who explained me everything I needed to know about it. I've been fascinated since the very first moment. create your own visited country map or write about it on the open travel guide

兴趣

This is a hard one...I'd say travelling, learning new languages, discovering what's going on in this crazy world, watching good movies (and sometimes also bad and corny ones!), tasting good food and drinks, reading, chatting with my friends and with random people...oh, this could go on forever :)

Movies: The lives of others, Todo sobre mi madre, Arizona Dream, Life is a Miracle, Underground (all the movies by Kusturica in fact!), La science des reves, Kill Bill, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Waltz with Bashir, Revolutionary Road, Benny and Joon, Il Divo, Frozen River, Train de vie, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Big Lebowski, Moonrise Kingdom, Persepolis, Into the Wild, Lemon tree, die Welle... and the good old "Lord of the Rings" marathon once a year! :)

Music: that's too hard! let's try... Goran Bregovic, Portishead, The Ting Tings, Cat Power, Gotan Projet, Moloko, Radiohead, Lamb, Woodkid, the Knife, Royksopp, FM Belfast, Florence + the Machine, Sia, Oh Land, Lana del Rey, ...and I confess I really love dancing to extremely tasteless oldies/Balkan-folk-music-wannabes :)
