About Me

Positive coffee drinking biker/skier with an addiction to running, mountain biking, Yoga and Zazen Sitting. I am a decent chef, and am willing to supply a bottle of wine or a six pack when needed. I have been told I am interesting/blunt and full of energy. I have been trying out jobs over the last 5 years and am about to partake in another journey to SE Asia, Japan and then a summer working in Alaska.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people, and learn about their home if it's in France, Peru of Missouri. I have not met someone on couch surfing who does not possess positive energy and a lust for the better things in life. Traveling is about meeting new people and having some laughs. Couch surfing is jsut so much more fun then sitting in a hotel alone.

Music, Movies, and Books

The classics are good for a reason. Anything that makes me dream or opens me to the world around me. I read a variety of books, usually something futuristic, or full of ideas on what is the meaning of life with some graphic novels and cook books mixed in. My music tastes are broad. Rock N Roll, and Blue Grass are always in my life but I cannot live without good rap, reggae, jazz or folk music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the top of Huayna Potosi in Bolivia during a full moon and summited 2 minutes before the sun rose. Awe Inspiring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up to learning new things. I can share my knowledge as well. I am an Eagle Scout and have been spending time in the woods since I was 2 so I know a thing or two.
I love to cook and have some taco, curry and paella recipes that I am willing to share or make. The smell alone will make you glad you met me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a spare bike and an extremely comfortable (but short) couch. My house back up on the bike trail that leads 1 mile to downtown Kent. Endless Good Coffee and Mate
