CURRENT MISSION

To soak up as much as I possibly can! I will be the sponge, and France and other Europeon gems will be the water! Hmph, cheesy. BUT I will be eating a lot of cheese so in all fairness... At the end of my trip I want to simply say: "Yes. Je suis complet"

ABOUT ME

I AM A:
Spontaneous, quirky, compassionate, silly, sweet-natured, heart-following adventure loving lady who likes to twist and shout while in various yoga postures all the while singing crazy chords of jazz music by my favorite Billie Holiday while still managing to cook an excellent meal (cook, not bake... baking= not my forte), drink some red wine (preferably cabernet sauvignon, but I'm open to any and all) and change the world one protest, conversation, hug and sharing at a time.
P.S. I think gender bending is cool. So are cats. Broccoli is my favorite veg. Sometimes I have a hat obsession... as well as a hair cutting problem, primarily my bangs. I want to re-learn piano. And riding bikes makes me happy =)

PHILOSOPHY

This is a loaded section.
To sum it up: I live to learn while learning how to live.
And through it all, I make room for dancing, crying, laughing, cuddling, creating and being playful while I do this growing up thing.

I think this is simply great. It is restoring trust in one another through this block building of community which is something many of us have lost. It's beautiful, really. I look forward to becoming apart of this energy.

And completing books that take me forever to finish... like The Art and Zen of Motorcycle Maintenance... and I'm still not done... so I'm interested in doing that.

But to each their own.
I personally think The Royal Tenenbaums is hilarious. Case in point.

Sky-diving. Incredible. Made me feel more alive than I'd ever felt. I wish I could do it every morning before I start my day, just to rejuvenate myself... but then that would mean I'd have to go into massive freak out mode where I can't talk to anyone or move or breathe just to prepare for the ordeal. On second thought...

I want to teach about feminism and how this "f" word really isn't a bad word. I want to learn as much as possible and listen to the stories people have to tell. I want to share an open heart and hugs. I'm really all about good hugs.
