I quit my job at a great architecture firm to pursue my own dreams. I am going to live in Cape Verde, the country my family came from, and explore a few other interesting/beautiful places along the way. I raised over $1,700 on social media in 3 days and purchased supplies to be trucked to Houston, TX after hurricane Harvey. I couldn't believe how much people trusted me and how quickly thu funds were raised. People's sense of urgancy and compassion shook me to the core! It felt great!
