I am university student who loves travelling, exploring new places and trying new experiences.

I believe that one can never know whether they'd truly love or hate a new experience until they give it a try. Thus, I'm a young student on a mission to try as many new things as I can in an attempt to learn more about myself and the world around me.

Until now, most of my overseas travels have been to places in Europe including Iceland, Netherlands, Germany. I wish to explore other parts of the world in the coming years with South America, Southeast Asia being near the top of my list.

Other than that, I enjoy board games, movies and music. I could talk about movies for days so if you're a movie fanatic, talk to me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first made an account on Couchsurfing when I first travelled to Europe. Even though I didn't get to use CS to couch surf that time, it seems like a great platform for meeting new people in all different parts of the world.

I strongly believe that interacting with local people in any country is the best way to learn about their culture, their everyday lives and everything you wouldn't have learned if you didn't talk to a local.

After entering university and having more freedom to do things, I took to travelling and have since been trying to visit new places to learn about their culture and absorb the natural beauty it offers.

I am a huge movie enthusiast and love talking about movies, tv shows, music with other people. I also love following various North American sports like MLB, NBA, etc.

I like playing board games as I find that it's one of the best activities to do if you're just hanging out with a few people and want to have a great time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is visiting Iceland. I'm a huge nature fanatic and this place absolutely blew me away by offering an immense variety of landscapes all on this tiny island.

The highlight of this amazing trip was getting to camp on land between the Eurasia and North American tectonic plates. This piece of land did not exist until a few hundred thousand years but is being constantly created by the two plates moving away from each other. Eventually Iceland will split into pieces separated by water as these plates continue drifting away from each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived in Canada for the majority of my life and in India before that. I can share the culture of these two places with my hosts and how it is to live in these places.
