I am a PhD student loving in Leeds, UK. I'm doing my best to make the most of any opportunities I have to travel and visit new cities. I am new to couch surfing and am considering using it instead of hostelling for an upcoming trip from Copenhagen to Grenoble in early September. I'm hoping this will allow me to better experience each of the cities I visit!

I am a sociable guy and enjoy chatting over a beer and maybe going for a little dance after a couple more drinks. I like to try new foods and your local knowledge of great places to try would be amazing to make use of!

My normal way to tour a city is to spend a couple of days walking around seeing what takes my fancy to visit, again your local knowledge would be invaluable!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try it! I'm planning a trip from Copenhagen to Grenoble soon and want to find a way to make the most of the short time I spend in each city. I would also love to meet new people and make new friends along the way!

I like indie rock/alternative/contemporary music. Things from Bowie and Joy Division to Radiohead and The Black Keys.

I never read as much as I would like to, trying to work my way through some modern classics at the moment.

Anything goes really for films. I'm definitely guilty of watching any awful films late at night because I've been too lazy to get up and go to bed!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania was the most breath - taking beautiful sight I've seen.

I could teach you some physics is you really like, maybe a little bit of cooking from the Gujurat area of India.

I am happy to learn anything. In particular the modern history of countries, I like to complain about our government and would probably enjoy hearing you complain about yours!
