My name is Devi Buddhi, I'm Brazilian and used to live in Rio de Janeiro.

I love traveling. I've traveled to many countries and now I'm starting to realize my dream of traveling around the world for a long time, becoming a nomade. I started my journey through Europe and by the end of the year I wish to go to Asia.

I love meditating, dancing, beeing a therapist and studying about spirituality and psychology. In Brazil, I conducted meditations and retreats for groups and worked as an individual therapist. My work is my passion. I also love arts, reading, going to the beach, talking to friends, hanging out, having fun, and open minded people. I have good humor and I'm very happy with life!

I'm vegetarian, organized and respect the space of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I most like when I'm travelling is to know new people, new ways of living and the culture of the places I visit. It seems to me that couchsurfing is a great way to get in touch with interesting and open minded people.

My favorite writers are Dostoievsky, Clarice Lispector and Fernando Pessoa. I also like to write. I've written books of poetry and romance.

I love cinema. Some of the directors I like are: Kurossawa, Win Wenders, Herzog, Almodovar, Fritz Lang, Coppola, Truffaut, Visconti, among others. If I had to choose a classic movie, it would be Apocalipse Now.

I love world music, brazilian music, rock and percursive music.
