I really enjoy reading Lang Leav though I wouldnt consider her poetry style as something I would condsider poetry growing up, but I can relate!
I like Dan Brown books and Series of Unfortunate Events.. Also stuff like R.L. Stine that gives you a throwback to your childhood days... (Child at heart). Oh, and have you read Louis Sachar stuff? Like holes and small steps? I loved them as a teenager.. Also really really realllllllllly like Ayn Rand and other dystopian novels.. 1984, the giver... Also stuff like the crucible, etc etc etc etc.
