I'm a BASE jumper, wingsuit pilot, horse trainer, and literature nerd.

I have traveled all over the Americas, North, Central, and South with my awesome dog, Thunder (Thunder the Wonder Dog on Facebook). I love to travel for the obvious reasons, and sometimes I hate to travel for the lesser talked about reasons--the intermittent loneliness, the waiting, the crowded buses, the transient nature of friendships made on the road.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of books. So many to choose from. As long as a work of art is created with soul--ie passion, drive, purpose--I respect the work. And generally I don't like any art that lacks soul--a subjective qualification, I know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a lot of crazy things. Thunder and I have done two motorcycle trips. One all around the US, rock climbing in various places. Thunder rode in a trailer I built for him, complete with windshield, windows, and memory foam mattress. And we did another trip on a shitty little 150cc dirt bike all over Nicaragua and into the southern bits of Honduras. Thunder cruised on the tank for that one, and our lady friend rode behind. We were also loaded up with climbing and camping gear. I'm writing a book about our first motorcycle trip: Mohawks & Motorcycles: A Great American Saga starring Thunder the Wonder Dog and Dang Ol' Mudcat Kelly.
It's a working title.
