Overview
About Me
Hi there! I'm Devin, originally from Colorado but now calling Tennessee my home. Despite my roots, I feel more at home when I’m abroad, exploring new places and meeting new people. Traveling has been a part of my life since childhood, and it’s a passion I never want to stop pursuing.
For fun, I’m a photographer, and I used to do it professionally. Now, I work as a Product Designer. My friends would describe me as thorough, warm, and goofy. I love diving into new experiences, especially when it involves tasting new foods, uncovering hidden gems in a city, learning history, visiting museums, swimming, biking, or hiking.
I’ve had several Couchsurfing adventures before the pandemic and am excited to get back into it. If you stay with me, you can expect some good old southern hospitality, delicious food, and a personal tour of the city.
I’m American but eager to expand my knowledge and experiences. I believe kindness is essential for a better world, and I strive to live by this principle every day. While I only speak English, I’ve dabbled in Russian, Norwegian, and Swedish, and I’m always eager to learn more.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow travelers and sharing amazing experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a broad taste but I tend to skip the TV and opt for Music and outside time or reading a book with a cup of tea or coffee.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent my childhood summers on a semi truck with my grandpa and was able to visit every state but Alaska and Hawaii. It taught me a lot about the world around me and how beautiful life can be.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to help run a Food, Beverage, and Hospitality magazine and so I care about excellent experiences and I want to share them with others. We can talk food, tech, travel, etc. I’m full of useless facts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My clean well kept and cozy home, a comfy bed, TV, basic toiletries, and local experiences.
