Overview
About Me
I’m a solo traveler who loves Jesus and people! I am from the Southern United States and love to meet new people and experience different cultures from a local's perspective.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find that spending the night at a hotel doesn't offer as authentic an experience as spending time with a local and getting to know the REAL side of a country - without all the attractions that are catered to tourists. It's much more exciting for me to spend my time getting to know a culture from a locals perspective, rather than at a hostel or hotel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had never traveled out of my own country until I turned 18, when I flew to Armenia for a trip with my friends. When I got home, I realized how easy it is to travel, so I quit my day job and flew to Iceland to become a dairy farmer for a summer. Working in Thingeyri, Iceland, gave me a deep respect for dairy farmers and a deeper thirst for adventure.
