ABOUT ME

I'm really just trying to figure out myself. Who I am. I tend to stay positive and see the good in people. I believe its important to live life in every moment just live and enjoy. I've been given so much and I would like to share it with everyone else.

PHILOSOPHY

There is only this moment the past is gone and the future is uncertain, so why spend it angry, greedy selfish and ignorant. Don't reserve anything this moment is all you have, don't waste it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had a couch surfing experience just yet. Unless you count being on my aunts couch in Dominican Republic for four months. That experience was beyond incredible I hung out with my cousin and her two beautiful very intelligent daughters. I got to volunteer at a place called Accion Callejera where I hung out and taught kids who lived and worked on the streets. These kids were amazing and had so much love to give. That has really propelled me to want to travel and experience all the love that's out there.

Interests

Learn everything you can about everything. I love to write in poetry, positive speech. Pluck away at a six string acoustic on the streets of New York with songs of peace and truth. I love to give myself to a cause completely and not expect anything in return. To travel with only necessities, totally fearless and open to the world. To meditate for truth and peace and for the sake of all beings. Yoga to relax and expound my body to suppress the unneeded anger and stress of everyday life. To be outdoors totally in natures arm and explore to take advantage of this life in every way possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ghandi, one of the most inspiring people I have ever read about. A saint for the world. On the Road Jack Kerouac planted its adventure seed in me. Bob Marley, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Ani Difranco, Jack Johnson. Any songs of freedom and love always stay in my heart. Into the Wild Chris McCandless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kindness from other people always gets me. Like the first time I hitchhiked In New York totally frustrated for not getting a ride. These incredible people gave me a lift and restored my hope in humanity

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach about patience and gratitude. The importance of meditation and yoga and how these practices can help bring us together. Anyone who is willing to teach, I am willing to learn. I would really like to learn about farming and sustainable living. Living off the grid.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With those gracious enough to invite me to their home, I would share everything I have learned thus far. Meditation, music, good conversation and a listening ear. And any other way I may be of service. I also am very passionate about music and love to sing.
