CURRENT MISSION

I'm moving from Michigan to Washington State and taking a loop through the southern and western USA on the way. I'm focusing on staying present and appreciating all that I have.

ABOUT ME

Wow, I already typed so much and my computer died! So, here goes!

Honestly, I feel lucky to be alive. I went through some really hard times during and after college, not taking care of myself and being ego-centric. I hit rock bottom a year and a half ago and knew I had to get my health back on track. Today I am a completely new person physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I am experiencing the excitement of being free and well for the first time in a very long time. I am moving to Washington to pursue a career in film, and I would like to also play semi-professional or professional soccer. Who knows -- no matter what I do, I am going to stay thankful for what I have, right here, right now. I feel a fever for life in all of my body, and yet a resounding peace, at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

There's too much to say -- don't get me started! But honestly, I believe that life in this universe is a miracle. It is also a mystery. By staying present, appreciative, and quiet, we receive glimpses into the grace that is our existence.

I stayed with one person from Couchsurfing! It was actually my friend's brother, so I don't know if that counts. So yeah, I am a total newbie!
