After Couchsurfing did the dirty and made everyone pay (without telling us!) I created a new account and found a way to get back on here without them forcing me to pay. I love the Couchsurfing community and am very grateful, but it is also owned by a huge private organisation that is increasingly profit oriented and who HAS funds!
