Overview
About Me
Serial nomad at heart and student of Global Public Health and Social Work in real life. Currently wandering around New York City until life takes me elsewhere. I'm all about living with compassion, having the most fun I can, travelling, having great experiences, and making greater friends!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to meet awesome people and build a network of good vibes that stretches across the globe. Hopefully will be in a position to host in the near future!
Interests
I love learning about and immersing myself in the diversity and vibrancy of the global human experience. Human rights, humanitarian affairs, political, and social justice issues are my main focuses, and basically my goal in life is to traverse the world while working to create positive change for humanity and Earth. On a day-to-day basis, my goals are to have fun and enjoy life with people who fill my days with happiness.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
My favorite artist of all time is K'NAAN, but in general I'm into all kinds of music but most of what I listen to is rap/trap, reggae, latin reggaeton, dancehall, hip-hop, and r&b, interspersed with liberal amounts of funk and Bollywood tunes.
MOVIES:
I love documentaries, and also mindless comedies and horror films. Also a sucker for Disney/Pixar.
Books:
Typically into autobiographies. Generally, any book that takes me somewhere or teaches me something about a person, a people, or a place. Went through a very real Harry Potter phase that is still an integral part of my being.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Ecuador with a group of wonderful people through the organization Me to We. We worked with locals in the community of Llullin in the Chimborazo Province (Andes region) to build a library/technology center for their school complex. Pretty dope.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not entirely sure what I can teach, but if you want to learn a few words in Hindi or how to navigate the NYC subway system, I guess I can help! With teaching and learning, I think whenever new people meet these things inevitably occur as a result of interacting with someone who has walked a path different from your own. As far as sharing goes, I'd love to share my interpretation of and experience in the city; Restaurants, bars, shops, parks, museums- ones I know are great and ones that are still on the to-do list!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my limited, but unique, perspective on the world; my experiences in Ecuador and India, as well as my life in New York and in small town America. Beyond that I can promise to share laughs, conversation, and positive energy :)
