ABOUT ME

I'm a wanna-be adventurer with a special place in my heart for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

I grew up in Detroit, studied in New York and have lived in Berlin, Germany since 2005 as a translator and a singer/electronic music producer.

While I'd like to have a more rigorous philosophy concerning travel, I think it simply boils down to the fact that I like to go places I have never been...and, without waxing too esoteric, become the kind of person I have always wanted to meet :)

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think I embrace a reasonably healthy combination of pragmatism and existentialism.

I'm a professional translator and semi-professional rock star. If I've got free time, I like to go places, cook stuff, eat stuff and climb around on stuff.
