ABOUT ME

I can host people the weeks I don't have my kids staying with me, which is every other week. Hopefully you time the week when it's possible!

I've spent a few years in Hollywood, Caifornia, studied music, worked the music scene and the biz. Back in Sweden since 2002 and after several years in the restaurant business in Stockholm, I now live in a smaller town in the south of Sweden. Used to work in mediasales, but now venturing into running my own company focusing on lightdesign. I'm openminded, liberal in thought and action and consider myself gifted with both empathy, EQ and some IQ..

I sing when I can, play some acoustic guitar and fake some drums and keyboard. Love live music and love going to shows and I prefer the smaller club or venue over festival, but festivals aren't bad either.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't really couchsurfed much in my days... One or two perhaps, but then it has been legit crashing on the couch somewhere. Long ago...

Interests

Music is around me all the time, in on way or another. I believe in tolerance and acceptance of all as long as it doesn't harm anyone. I love hanging with my kids when they stay with me.

I love a great stand-up, have some aspirations myself and writing is in progress.. Some of my favorites include these gents; Bill Maher, Magnus Betnér, George Carlin, George Bernard Shaw, Bill Hicks...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just recently, climbing up a building site around a church tower in southeast Öland. The view from up there was incredible!

Iceland is always great! Great variation in nature and weather. Also saw the northern lights when working at sea for some weeks in 2002.

Been to Vegas 4-5 times.. Love it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent 5 years in Hollywood, calls for some stories… My mother is native Icelandic so I have some of my family there, and have visited many times (even tried to live there once). Since I play guitar, I could teach you some of that if you'd be interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences and hopefully some laughs and good talk! I'm an easygoing person who like meeting new people and there's very seldom lack of things to talk about and discuss. I believe myself to be openminded and humble to the people I meet in life. Everyone has their own story, and it's always interesting to hear yours!
