我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I've been really lucky to see alot of awesome places so far, and this is a short list of the really cool things that have stood out to me:
1. I went to Rome with my grandpa around ten years ago. I was 9 and bored, so we went to a plaza down from our hotel before it was time to eat, and I decided to play soccer with some kids. We were having fun and then my aunt screams out "It's the pope!!". So, that gets EVERYONE's attention, and we all stand and watch the pope-mobile drive by :D
2. I was at Disney World during the 50 years celebrations. My Aunt and I were riding one of the rides that goes down really fast as the last ride before we left before close. We were on one of the outside curves when it's still going really slow just before it picks up to go down the incline part, and there were apparently fireworks going off. We got to watch the big finale of the firework show from on top of the mountain thing.
3. I stayed a week in 7th grade with my grandpa and his friends at their house in San Francisco. The calmest thing of my entire life was the smell of their house with the way the fog was over the Golden Gate Bridge every morning. They live in El Cerrito, if anyone knows the specifics of San Francisco, and it's basically the mountain beside SF, so you could see EVERYTHING if you woke up early enough to watch the fog clear. It was really cool :]
4. When I was in New Orleans last summer, summer '08, I kept seeing signs about the Circus coming into town, and I REALLY wanted to see them coming into town. Well, one day we were on the street cars and I was half asleep looking out the window and noticed the elephants marching a few streets over, holding trunks to tails and everything! I woke up everyone by practically screaming "ELEPHANTS?!" I was sooo excited that I got to see them in the French Quarter.
5. I saw the Lion King live on Broadway in New York. Enough said. It was with a field trip with choir in middle school, and when I found out we were going to see the Lion King [we didn't find out WHICH Broadway play we were seeing until we got to NYC] I was shocked/stoked :D
