Overview
About Me
I grew up with very little, which taught me humility, resilience, and gratitude early in life. Those lessons shaped how I connect with people and how I move through the world.
I’m an Army reservist who has spent years living and working overseas, including humanitarian work in Afghanistan—an experience that deeply reinforced my belief in kindness, community, and shared humanity.
I also lost both of my parents tragically. Travel became a way for me to honor them—to see the world with curiosity, appreciation, and joy, carrying them with me rather than staying rooted in loss.
I’m respectful, clean, and low-maintenance. I value meaningful conversations, shared meals, and mutual respect, and I treat every home with care and gratitude
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve traveled extensively for work, visiting over 110 countries
, which often means seeing places without really feeling them. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with locals, experience everyday life, and share real conversations rather than just passing through.
These days, I value connection over nightlife—good stories, shared laughs, and learning from one another.

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy sharing perspective from extensive travel and conversations with experienced travelers—including close friendships within the global travel community like NomadMania and its founder Harry Mitsidis.
Having visited many places people often misunderstand or fear, I’ve learned that kindness, safety, and generosity are far more common than headlines suggest. I’m always happy to share stories that challenge assumptions and highlight the humanity that connects us everywhere.
