About Me

I'm a 20-something solo traveler, just trying to collect new and exciting experiences. I've probably got a few stories to tell but am happy to just sit and listen.
We're born and then we die. So fill the short time between with joy and kindness and the stuff that matters to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Saving money is always good, but I believe that one of the most important aspects of travel is building relationships with people from different cultures, and this is an opportunity to meet new people and hopefully make good friends along my way. I think the world is a lot nicer and more friendly than we think.

Interests

Some of my interests include: a very, very wide variety of music, a new, eye-opening or world-changing book, and just about any genre of movie. I also love hiking and am an avid climber. I very much enjoy conversation with people who can open my eyes and make me see the world in a new way, or people who I can share my sense of humor with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: alt-j, Anderson.Paak, D.D Dumbo, Ennio Morricone, Florence + The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dope Lemon, The Beatles, Neil Young etc.

Books: Mainly non-fiction but also The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Unbroken, Gone Girl, anything by Kurt Vonnegut or Hemingway.

Movies: City of God, Forrest Gump, Napoleon Dynamite, Mean Girls, The Incredibles, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked El Camino de Santiago. Twice. Most amazing way to see Spain and meet people from all over the world. I could spend all day talking about my experiences and still leave too much out.
Swam up close and personal with giant Manta rays near Komodo island in Indonesia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversation, some cooking (I am vegetarian), juggling lessons (I recently learned myself) and many, many jokes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cambodia, Czech Republic, England, Fiji, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda, Viet Nam
