ABOUT ME

I am a creativity lover. I enjoy writing, reading, films, and theatre. I completed my undergrad in Drama and English, followed a few years later by my Master's of Arts in journalism. Currently, I'm an online editor.

I spent a year teaching English in South Korea, and fell in love with the food and five year olds. After that I traveled China, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and Cambodia, then made the pilgrimage back to my hometown of Fergus, Ontario -- a tiny town with Scottish lineage where once a summer, people wear kilts and throw entire trees in the air. It's quite a sight.

I am the eldest of four children -- because of it, I like to go with the flow and I cherish a good sense of humour.

I love the wilderness of Canada and it always causes a pang of homesickness for me. Canoe trips, kayaking, cottaging, swimming, and bonfires are ideal summer activities.

I was a synchronized swimmer for 10 years, a lifeguard, a bar manager, and a tree-planter. I look forward to seeing new places and meeting even more amazing people.
