I'm an adventurous bookworm who loves animals and music.
I love the outdoors and discovering new places and meeting different people. I prefer exploring over clubbing but I'm not against going dancing once in a while - as long as the music is good. I can quote way too much of the dialogue from Skyrim and Hot Fuzz. I work at a vet and sometimes bring animals home with me.
ABOUT TRISTAN
He can seem quiet but is always up for a conversation. Loves gaming. Is Obsessed with Cycling.
Seriously - if you are going to host us, be warned he will have found a bike in the city and be wanting to go ride.
Always smiling and a great cook. His profession is that of a mechanical engineer.

Tristan and I have been together since 2011
We both enjoy boardgames: lords of waterdeep, catan, last night on earth, trap words... etc
We both can ride motorbikes and enjoy swimming when the weather is great.
We play computer games together although there is a much higher win ratio in his favor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We see couchsurfing as a way to meet new people and experience cultures.

We love showing people to places that the tour guides skip over. It’s a great way to show off Cape Town’s hidden gems.
Couch surfing with someone just allows us to learn about their home and Town in a better way than with the tourist stuff. We’ve taken guests to unknown beaches and explored our own city with them.
I’ve been taken to secret Roman hot springs and been shown the hidden geek stores in Amsterdam.

It also lets us meet new people with new views and life experiences. Learn languages and cultures. Find out about political issues that the media don’t pay attention to. Learn a new dance. Get taught new sayings and customs. We get to trade new cooking recipes and customs.

Interests

We enjoy adventure sports such as paintball, white river rafting and motorbiking. Tristan LOVES cycling and I LOVE finding and learning to play new musical instruments.
I also love working with animals at rescue centres and sanctuaries.
We often will have a foster animal at home with us. - unless we are travelling
Tris is a great cook and I can also cook and bake so whether you're hosting us or we are hosting you, there will be food.

We would love to share our cooking with you
I work with and absolutely love animals. If you need some help with anything, dog, cat, horse, bird, bat, snake... (the list continues) I will be so happy to interact with them.
Tristan can assist with anything bicycle related.

I’m musical with instruments and love making up new music or harmonizing to songs. Give me a new instrument and I should have a handle on it in an hour or so.
