ABOUT ME

I am a very busy person! Between work, a 3 year old, household chores, cooking, running & life in general, there's not much time left. But, I do love to travel! And, I do love to run! So, I will be hitting the road with my running shoes & making my way across the US (& beyond) in 2014 to run in the Rock N Roll Marathon Series.

I live my life for my family. Family means the world to me & I hope to instill the value of family, love & respect in my children.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted some very friendly people from Spain, Germany, Czech Republic & the U.S. We have taken several of them to the National Parks for very enjoyable day trips & awesome company. We are anxious to surf with some of our new found friends.

Interests

Traveling, running, reading. Music, radio & concerts. Party planning, crafts, crochet. Sports! Football, basketball, soccer. I'm a fantasy football addict! I have my scuba certification, although this is a new interest that we haven't had much time to explore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Chichen Itza in Yucatan Mexico is one of the most amazing things I've seen. The immense structure itself, the design, the meaning, the use of the pyramid with the sun to determine planting & harvesting, etc. it's absolutely amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am fascinated with people of different cultures & I love learning about their lives & their countries & their foods! I love food & can teach people how to make some excellent American meals.
