I'm doing some traveling for the first time. I've wanted to check out Costa Rica for ten years, ever since reading about it in a travel magazine. I'm also taking a break from the craziness in my home country :(

I've been wwoofing in Costa Rica and I'm planning to do some couchsurfing next week when I check out the Caribbean coast.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I'm not a surfer myself, or even a good swimmer. But I happened to be visiting Hawaii earlier this year when they held the biggest surfing competition in the world, the Eddie Aikau, so I got to witness that. It was pretty incredible. Its not a regularly scheduled event because it requires a guaranteed minimum of 40 foot waves. Reportedly the waves got up to 60 feet!
