I've hosted friends, new and old, at my apartment in Kampala, Uganda. It was great having people coming from different parts of the area and being able to show them around the neighborhood.

I've got two:

1) I was a matatu conductor in Kampala and made 6,000 shillings on my route.
2) I was also stuck in jam for 20 minutes because there was an elephant on the road.
