ABOUT ME

I am a full-time student doing my Honors in Accounting/Finance. I have a great sense of humor and I'm always busy having a laugh. I enjoy playing and watching sport (Football, Tennis, Golf, Rugby & Cricket). I am adventurous and enjoy being outdoors.I listen to music everyday and watch movies as frequently as I can. I have a inquisitive mind and find most things interesting. My weaknesses are : good food & drink (e.g. pasta & beer)& football. I enjoy living life the way I like it and not conforming to a group. I love discovering new places and meeting interesting people. I like having intelligent conversations and experiencing things for a first time! The most rewarding & enriching experiences I've had was during travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that a person can learn something from everyone. I believe travelling and broadening your horizons is the road to true happiness. It is important to learn something new each day & no day is ever wasted!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to be a guide for any traveler wanting to experience one of the most beautiful cities in the world : Cape Town! I would like to show Couchsurfers the best that Cape Town/Stellenbosch has to offer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None thus far. I am willing to host Couchsurfers during my vacation. I am planning a solo backpacking tour of Europe over November/December after I have graduated!

Music: Indie/Alternative Rock. Favourites include The Black Keys,Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Muse, Lana del Rey, Rammstein, Kasabian, Keane, Pink Floyd & Gorillaz to name but a few. I love listening to music and appreciate all genres.

Movies: The Intouchables, Shutter Island, The Bourne Trilogy, James Bond, Catch me if you can, Inception, The Pianist, The Place beyond the Pines,The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I watch new movies almost every week. Favourite actors are Leo DiCaprio & Christian Bale.

TV Programmes: Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Luther, True Detective, Top Gear, House of Cards & Suits. Cooking & travel programmes.

I mostly read the newspaper & on the internet daily. I like keeping up to date with happenings in the world.
