I like to stay busy - we spend a lot of time running a yarn shop, playing with the kids, playing music, making life interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone we meet reflects back to us an aspect of ourself. We meet others not by accident but to have specific aspects of ourselves shown to us. This is how we learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's hard to travel the way I want to with kids but I hope that having a couch available bring the travel to me.

Interests

archery, knitting and spinning, West African dance, gardening, canning and preserving,music, reading, homeschooling, local history, fairy tales, good beer, spacing off on the back porch in inclement weather (why stay outside when it's unpleasant? but how to go back in?), wild mushrooms, smooth stones, lower middle class survival in the modern economy. The smell of oak leaves becoming dirt.

Teach, Learn, Share

Show me a thing or two about drumming (kit or hand)- I love to teach people to knit. I'm happy to share a meal- and always want to learn a new dish. We can trade hooping tricks - I appreciate advice for my garden, too-
