About Me
One of my biggest travel-adventure was in Mexico in 2012. I spent half a year in Cuernavaca for a semester abroad; actually I spent most of the time traveling around and learnt more in the streets than at university. And this was the reason why I fell in love with this country and came back to live there. Since this year, I finally have my permanent residency and I'm also aiming to have the Mexican nationality one day. However, I still love the country where I was born and grew up: Switzerland. So every then and now I come back to visit my family and friends in Switzerland and Europe.
I'm a passionate German teacher and also love to see and experience culture - which can be art, music, food, movies etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had one not so good experience so far (which actually I don't remember, now that I read this lines years after)... and many great CS experiences on top of that!
One of the CSers I've met is a very good friend of mine now; in 2013, I was even invited to her wedding - thanks to CS we got to know each other!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to attend small concerts, they are much more fun than the big ones.
I'm the worst book-reader ever! I need at least half a year (if not a whole one) to finish a book.. but somehow, there exist some few books I finish within days. I guess these are the really good ones!?
I love watching movies! And I nearly watch every genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Minsk: one of the most interesting travels I've done.
Bahia Drake: the most beautiful place in Costa Rica!
Siwa: an oasis in Egypt. I staid there at the best hotel ever and felt like in a bible tale they told me when I was a child!
Vinga, near Göteborg: a little island, where volunteers who stay there the whole summer tell you interesting stories about it.
A little cute teahouse in Beijing: can you imagine drinking tea for 3 hours? After visiting this teahouse, I can!
Dia de los Muertos in Ocotepec, Mexico: One of the nicest celebrations I've ever seen. After celebrating death with the Mexicans you see this topic in a total different way
Moving to Mexico.
