I'm a medical student born and bred in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love exploring new places, meeting new people, and generally just expanding my horizons. My favorite song at the moment is The Nights, by Avicii (so danceable).

Besides medicine, I'm a bit of an armchair anthropologist. I get fascinated by people--what we do, why we do it, who we do it with--and my secret ambition is to one day figure out why we all drive ourselves so crazy over relationships. That's why I'm into history, too: looking for clues, I guess.

I'm also a huge sports fan: football (American), hockey, basketball, baseball, football (Association). Go Niners! I play sports when I can, but generally love just working up a good sweat, whether it's hiking or cycling, martial arts or lifting.

I would love to play bubble soccer one day.

- Rowed on the Beijing Olympic racecourse
- Sunset in the wilds of Utah, in the middle of winter
- Met the one-time blindfolded Rubik's Cube world champion (he didn't just do it blindfolded, he did it with one hand)
