About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Buy a sailboat and sail forever chasing the sun. Oh and I love to dream haha

ABOUT ME

I'm Andy. Nice to meet you.

I live in Brisbane, or rather I base myself here. Since finishing Uni I refuse to settle into a 9 to 5 job, rather, I work freelance in a variety of jobs and projects. At the moment I play in a band called The Belligerents, work part-time doing youth support work, facilitate corporate activities and team-building, and make t-shirts.

Love to be busy, which equates to heaps of chill-time. I have travelled a fair bit in the USA, worked in California then travelled to Austin, Texas. Went to a few major music festivals, then jetted to South America and went overland through 4 countries from Argentina. Time of my life! Since then I have been back to the USA once.

Soon I'm keen to hit up Asia on a big adventure, as well as something epic across Australia.

PHILOSOPHY

The life of an adventurer isn't as easy one.

What have you done today that made you feel awesome?

I am currently working on a Smile Documentary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whilst travelling I met the most hospitable people on the planet, welcoming me with open arms into their spaces. Such a community spirit is short-lived unless I too do my part. Hence I'm here. Hello there. Let's couchsurf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people from a bunch of countries, and best thing is, working freelance I have heaps of time to show people around.

Interests

I love adventure sports, getting out there and giving it a shot, bike riding, beach, deejaying, parties, music festivals, bushwalks, scenery, long drives, and any sort of random adventure mwhahah!

Beers and good times by the fire will also quench my thirst.

Music, Movies, and Books

Been making music since I was a kiddo. Have been playing classical piano for 20 years. Now I am into synths and MIDI tracking. I play keys for our band The Belligerents. We make dancing music!

I live in a very musical house, complete with PA, drums, amps, guitars, keys you name it.

I read mostly non-fiction Adventure books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the summit of Huayna Potosi (6, 088m) in Bolivia just out from La Paz, I had the most spiritual orgasm of my life. Word.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Peru, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
