I’m Deyna, I’m 25 and I was born in Lima; the main city of Peru. I majored in Economics and I love meeting new people, learning about the world and going on adventures!

I cannot say how grateful I am with CS because I made wonderful and beautiful friends from different continents around the world. I was so shocked the first time doing CS as I realized how blind I was about how many wise and fun experiences hosts offered. I really enjoyed my time during CS trips and, even though I was not able to travel a lot in the past, I was so delighted by every single city I visited.

I am a digital nomad, so now I am able to work from home most of the time but after work I would love to share good experiences with hosts (and I hope future good friends).

I’m vaccinated against Covid, I don’t smoke and try to eat as healthy as possible (although Pepperoni Pizza is my guilty pleasure and once I start eating it, nothing will stop me lol).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Personally, I think the most interesting thing CS offers is quality time and friendship. What I’m mostly looking for is people that are experts at the city to suggest and, of course if available, join me in fun and enriching things to do around the city. I also value so much everything you can teach me, from personal experiences in work, friendships, family, your favorite subject… I am very keen on learning about everything I lack knowledge in.

I’ve done so many friends around the world and treasure every single thing each one taught me. We just need to find one common thing and friendship begins :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my parents rescue astray cats and dogs in Peru. The country of Peru has a serious problem of astray animals so every help counts. #DontBuyAdopt

I climbed Point Dume at Malibu beach with the beautiful light from the moon. It was scaringly awesome!

I went to the same exact filming location of Star Wars, Django Unchained and Iron Man around the Death Valley. So cool!

Also, I was an extra in a kind of famous Youtuber’s video filmed in Hollywood. Maybe you don’t consider it amazing but for me: I never thought I was ever going to be part of such thing (look, mom, I’m famous).

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share new things about my culture, why not teaching some Spanish or German! Also, I can share tips for traveling around Peru and I’m kind of good at maths and statistics too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Adventures, music, pilates, good (and why not silly) conversations, help with the cores of the house and obviously wonderful company.
