About Me

ABOUT ME
People would describe me as a fun-loving person that love to love others and learn about their interest. I am a firm believer that life is too shot to be discriminating. I truly believe that people miss their blessings and opportunities based on how things look like. Many times, I take advantage of meeting others who are different than me to widen my world. I am a teacher and I also believe in the power of education and understanding that education will change the world. People would also describe me as hard-working, caring, very persistent in getting my dreams into reality!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is love. If you love people and life, then good things will come to you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to start couch surfing in the local area to build friends. I know that there are some truly cool people in my own backyard that I would love to hook up with and learn from!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have used it to stay with locals when traveling. I have several new friends I keep track with. I find it amazing they check up on me as well.
Interests
In my spare time, I enjoying hanging out with friends, volunteering with different organizations, and doing anything that is fun and exciting. I am a real people person and I enjoying hanging out in big groups. I also like going into cities and partaking in restaurants and sights that is not available in my own city. During the school year, I am too busy being a teacher and going to graduate school! I am also heavy into Music and I used to be a DJ in high school (mainly Hip Hop & R&B). I also enjoy a nice evening outside with a glass of whiskey and a nice cigar with good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am into Gangster movies and comedies mostly. I am starting to open my mind to other types of movies, but I will not watch a scary movie. I am open to any kind of music and I am beginning to read books now outside or work and school requirements.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) My first out of country experience to Managua Nicaragua was an eye - opening experience. It truly taught me to be blessed with what I have in America and to be content with what we have!
2) Graduating from college, which was a childhood dream!
3) I earned my Doctorate degree and I am very excited about the places I will go!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share the no matter how your situation looks like, you can always make it. I want to share that you can overcome many obstacles as long as you know you have the strength to do it.
