About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To observe and try to know as much people as possible.
Be openminded, flexible, critic against myself.
I consider (nearly) every human being as worth of consideration, attention, love.
Perfection is not a virtue, just a planet in some unknown galaxy.
ABOUT ME
I'm born in Trieste, Italy, a town on the border with Slovenia, a crossroad of cultures with a Mittel-european spirit.
I'm part of the Slovenian minority living in Italy.
Borders don't have a clear meaning to me, since I never know how to describe myself, even if most of times I stick to what is written in the official documents I keep in my wallet, "citizenship: Italian".
Now I do study in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and hopefully I'll be done with my studies in about half a year. Then I'll dive into the unknown...yeah!
I'm blond, tall and cheerful. The different bloods flowing in me makes me mad sometimes... just kidding!
I speak four different languages rather well and I do know a little bit of Dutch and Spanish.
Communication with other people is maybe the activity I love the most, even if I don't look down on staying alone with my own thoughts.
What else? Well, that's pretty enough I'd say... if you want to know more you'll have to meet me! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'am on couchsurfing because I belive in "sharing" as the best way to create value among people.
And because I love to encounter new people!
Interests
I'm very interested in politics and environmental issues, and I love every artistic expression, especially music, poetry and painting.
Discussing about topical issues, but also about abstract/philosophical topics, is for me a pleasure. Having new insights from other people is a great opportunity to add a stone to my own path.
I'm a very curious person and I like to discover as much as possible of the world that surrounds me.
I love nature, fresh air, the sound of a place without cars.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is life! I just can't live without music.
Classical, rock, reaggea, blues, jazz, elektro, charleston, folk, world, hip-hop...
I'm open to any novelty for what regards music!
For what regards movies I like very much thrillers, spy-movies, dramas. But any will do as far as it is a good movie! I also do love documentaries.
Some random titles: Man with a camera, Frankenstein Junior, Nuovo cinema Paradiso, Ronin, Confessions of a dangerous mind, Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie, Ghost dog, L'armata Brancaleone, 8 1/2, Seven samurai, Pulp fiction, La grande illusion
Books... any kind of!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well... that's a difficult one.... maybe was that time when I was sitting nearby an old Albanian lady in front of the bus going from Tirana to Athens and we "spoke" the whole way using gestures, few english and serbian words, and some amazing food she took from home!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm learning Dutch.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With hosts I can share my experiences, knowledge, languages and cooking skills. I'm also handy with fixing stuff. My friends sometimes call me McGyver, but I'm far from it. Nevertheless, I can give it a try. But I'm not a plumber. :)
