Travel the world whenever I can and meet as many people as I can along the way!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in California and loved every minute of it. I decided to try something new for college and head north one state to Oregon. After four years of school there, I developed a strong yearning to travel. So I backpacked through Europe in 2008. That trip, along with others, has opened my eyes to the world in many ways and I look forward to expanding my horizons even more as I continue to travel. Now I am living in Spain, working as an English teacher. I am having a great time here and I look forward to continuing to see as much of the world as I can!

I am an outgoing, funny, sarcastic person who likes to try new things (mostly good ones...). If you want to know more about me, just ask!

PHILOSOPHY

Living in the moment is my personal philosophy. It can be challenging at times, but I find that focusing too much on the past or future generally brings more bad than good. Of course I want to learn from my past and remember good times, as well as plan for the future at least a little. But the most important time is now, and always will be.

I have only met fellow Couch Surfers for drinks, but I have yet to actually surf a couch. I hope this changes very soon!

Music and Movies are extremely important to me, as I can always find one or both that fits my mood perfectly! Far too many to list here, but just to give an idea of what I'm into:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have moved to Spain to teach English, my first time living in a Spanish-speaking country. Also, I won the school spelling bee in 7th grade!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have good knowledge of technology, as I have been working with it most of my life. If I am staying with you, I can definitely fix your computer and possibly other technology that may be giving you fits. Also, if you want to discuss sports (most notably baseball, American football, and tennis), I'm your guy.
