I'm a Mexican girl who studies Environmental Engineering in Mexico and loves traveling, hence I'm doing this semester at the University of Edinburgh. I heard about Couchsurfing while living in Denmark but I decided to really start using it recently. I don't like partying too much but I love staying up late watching a movie or having long talks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I lived in Denmark for a year and while leaving there, a friend recommended Couchsurfing as an easy way to meet people and find a place to crash or host people

Interests

I love reading, mostly novels but I am always open to new suggestions.
Watching movies and tv series is what I usually do on weekends when I am home.
I really enjoy walking around (right now while I'm living on Edinburgh I love walking everywhere)
My favorite nights out involve karaoke and singing my lungs out.
I laugh of everything.
Since I'm currently away from Mexico, I'm trying to travel as much as I can around Scotland.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a specific favourite book, but some that I love include The Shadow of the Wind, The Book Thief and Pride & Prejudice.

My favourite movies are from Brad Pitt's golden years: Meet Joe Black, Legends of the Fall... I am a romantic so I loooove Sweet Home Alabama and my favourite Mexican movie is "La vida inmoral de la pareja ideal"

I listen to all types of music except hard rock or heavy metal and in Mexico, I don't really like banda or corridos (some banda songs but NO corridos at all)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 14 one of my friends had cancer and was all freaked out about losing her hair... so, to prove her it's only hair and it is not important, I shaved my head and donated all my hair to her.
