Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to enjoy the world and help others do the same!
ABOUT ME
I have just moved to a new city - San Diego. I love it here so far and I am trying to explore as much of it as I can. From an evening new moon hike to walking downtown to paddle board yoga (it's yoga -- on a paddle board!), I try to find something to do nearly every day. Luckily, this city has a lot going on.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in helping out the average person. If I am walking to my car and someone is having a tough time putting something in their car, I'll offer to help. I'm new to San Diego too, so I would love to stumble around and we can see it together!
One of the questions here is 'Why do you live your life?' There is soo much to answering that question and I feel this box can't contain my complete answer. I have had two near-death experiences that have changed my life. Both served as a catalyst into new places in my life. Life is about experience, not about money or things you own. Live life, enjoy others, and you can be happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy showing people San Diego when I can. I work during the week, but my weekends are usually better. My husband and I enjoy making friends from everywhere.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted people and been hosted by people. Every experience has been great in its own way, and I've loved every bit of it!
Interests
I enjoy spending time with people and learning about others. Whether it's a drink or an hike, it's the people that make it interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like movies that make you think a lot. The Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko, Inception, etc. As far as music, I have a wide range of music that I like. In books, I like science fiction books and fantasy books. I like books about the universe, physics, and how the world works.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Germany for a year in 2004-2005. It was an amazing experience, and really opened my eyes to the world. I learned German, met some really good people, and it changed my life. If CS can help others experience the same thing, then I am all for helping!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can possibly show you the Zoo, Balboa Park, or some of the awesome places we have to eat! Or maybe I can take you to a local Brewery.
