About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to become a citizen of the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a young guy living in Brooklyn with three of my best friends. I work hard and live modestly. I love to travel, meet new people, and experience other cultures.

I'm a genuinely nice person who tries to live in the moment, take it day by day, and balance work and play.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn more, do more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Madrid when Spain won the '08 Euro Cup. Craziest night of my life! Ended when the sun was coming up, as riot police fired rubber bullets over our heads..

Teach, Learn, Share

Some of the places I recommend going for first-time visitors to NYC;

Battery Park; It is beautiful here, especially in the evening when the sun is low in the sky. You'll have a wonderful view of the Statue of Liberty, even if you don't want to spend the money on the boat to get out there. Mostly it's a nice place to relax, sit by the water, and take it all in.

Central Park; Is huge! There are indeed some notable landmarks, but I recommend just entering from somewhere, getting lost, and emerging somewhere else. Who knows where you'll end up.

Brooklyn Bridge; This is nice to walk across on a sunny day.

New York Public Library; There are many locations, but you have to check out the 'main' branch; the Schwarzman building. It's huge! If the building itself isn't amazing enough, there's always some sort of exhibit going on. They also offer free daily tours, I believe.

Natural History Museum; Loved going here as a kid, love going now! There are dinosaurs. Need I say more?

Little Italy; While this neighborhood is dwindling, and there are indeed some tremendous rip-offs, there are a few gems left. Ferrara's bakery has some of the best sweets in the city. Da Nico's is still my favorite restaurant, and pretty affordable.

Brooklyn

There are many great places in Brooklyn as well! The brooklyn bridge will let you out in DUMBO, a cool neighborhood full of young people, art studios and galleries.

Prospect park is a great place to spend the afternoon, and actually quite large.

My #1 place to go in Brooklyn though has to be Coney Island. Obviously during the summer, but I'd still recommend going in the off-season. There is some great food along the boardwalk (Nathan's hot dogs, of course, being one of them), the amusement parks, the beach, and the boardwalk itself.
