One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful thing I've seen was the yellow mountains in China (Huángshān or 黄山). Japan had some very beautiful sites in Kyoto and also this island near Hiroshima called Miyajima.

Teach, Learn, Share

1. China is a good place to take a business
2. the United Arab Emirates is an ever better place for business.
3. Japanese karaoke is different from american karaoke in that in Japan, you get your own room with couches for you and your friends, and you can often get all you can drink for a total of only $15/hour! Good times.
4. In China, "masagie?" does not mean "massage" in the traditional sense...
5. Convenience stores are your friends in Japan, they have everything you need from shirts, socks, and ties to some pretty good dinners (which they even heat up for you).
6. In Japan, respect for superiors is very important in the business world. As a foreigner, you don't need to bow, because they understand, but they will be impressed if you have a good bow when you meet a Japanese superior. How to make a good bow: don't maintain eye contact, but you can look over at them to see if you are bowing lower than they are (which you should if you are lower on the chain), and bend at the hips no the stomach.
7. In china, things are different, but try not to add to the pollution in the cities.
