About Me

Love to bike, run, hike, ski, tour. I enjoy meeting cool people, learning about different cultures, and open to new experiences. I am a techie and a geek. But, I have fun debating with people, getting into deep conversations, doing new out-of-the-norm things. I am funny, super dorky, kind, playful and respectful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am open to meeting new people. I want to travel the world and get a chance to meet some locals to hang out with, and want to help out globe trotters and hear their stories and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like science fiction and fantasy mostly. Over the last few years, I listen to audiobooks a lot - when cycling, running, hiking, driving, and even when shopping. My most favorite author is Isaac Asimov, and I like his Foundation and Robot series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biked the California coast (solo with my tent and sleeping bag) in 2006, that got me hooked into bike touring. Then followed up with a solo bike tour of Baja California from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas in 2016. Want to continue doing bike tours around the world, and meet other tourers. Started running in 2017. Got hooked to trail running. Ran the Zion 100 and Bryce 100 mile runs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to teach English, and to learn Spanish or Chinese whenever I can.
