ABOUT ME

My name I'd Doug. I'm a lover of traveling and I love to support others in their traveling. Learning is a huge passion of mine, and I love to talk and hang out with people. I happen to work a lot right now so I may not be able to party late or hang out in the day but people are welcome to enjoy New Orleans just try not to wake me when you come in.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a Christian, you can feel free to ask me about it but there's no need to. I love to talk and hang out with people from all walks of life, and I have no desire to push any views on anyone I just love to learn about where people are coming from.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch for anyone who wants at the moment and I'm looking to help people out. I usually like to take in shorter stays because of my work. (4 days or less is usually best). Sometime not too long from now I would like to do some surfing myself, most likely internationally.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couchsurfing by a friend recently here in New Orleans, and in my short time meeting people through couchsurfing I've had great time.

Wow that's a lot, the cop out answer is anything that blows my hair back. Music of all kinds but blue grass, jam, jazz, and heavy metal the most. Books that make me think, CS Lewis, Douglas Adams, Alexis de Tocqueville, Issac Asimov, Edgar Allen Poe, Neil Giaman, Phillip Pullman.
