About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Priority is in work right now ; however : one who works a lot, needs to play a lot!
ABOUT ME
OK... I'm a 36 years old guy, bit of a thinker but not afraid to act, living the life I always dreamed of : doing something for others, outside (or, ok, on the borders of) the capitalist, profit driven society; something in which I truly believe and that I really enjoy - whilst (let's not fool ourselves, this is necessary) making a living at the same time. I'm open in thoughts, liberal in the behavioural way, socialist in the political sense. Oh, and I like fun - in whatever form it comes.
PHILOSOPHY
Love it, change it or leave it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hey, I was just a guy on mission in Nepal, finding myself in a big house with 2 guest rooms... Why not offer them via CS to people looking for a place, and get a chance to meet interesting people at the same time ? Met some great people that way, had some great times. Moved to South Africa recently, and I'm still trying to find my way around ; that is why I won't host for the moment, unless in specific situations. But I sure want to stay active in the CS community - so feel free to drop me a line.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted quit some peeps by now, met some really interesting and fun people!
Interests
Many many things : people's stories, politics, philosophy, but also music, fun and adventure. Not a great fan of food - but totally love having dinner with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
For books, mostly non fiction or semi fiction (eg the constant gardener). Music, pretty much everything. Movies can depend on the taste of the day - but usually, i'm more interested in the story then the acting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Thank god you only ask for one... Makes it a little hard to choose though... I'd say the opportunities to travel and thereby discover I've had and have, are the most amazing aspect of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not so sure, but since I'm a professional aid worker, I kind of know the subject, and I'm happy to answer questions about that, discuss methodologies and best practices, give my opinion on the how and the why, etc... When it comes to the learning side, I'm open to pretty much everything - sorry, it's just the way it is.
