Been playing music - mostly the accordion - all my life, and right now that's what I'm focusing on, along with running a startup company called Concert Window.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted a bunch of couchsurfers when I lived in Galway, Ireland and am hoping to get back into it here in NYC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a ton in Galway and also stayed with a few couchsurfers in Morocco and Ireland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...The time I was motorbiking around ruins in Thailand and saw a sign that said "This is a wish from a deaf monk. Seek me if you can." I followed the arrows into the jungle (like 8 km into the jungle) and came upon his lean-to. He was deaf but spoke perfect English that he had taught himself from books. He told me someone had given him a laptop and a satellite modem but he didn't know how to use them. He asked me to set them up for him. I did... and watched as this forest hermit discovered google for the first time. "What is this?" he asked.. with a smile, his first search was for "girl." I set him up a gmail account and I've been keeping in touch with him over the years!
